Barry O. Heape has been employed at DOCO Regional Federal Credit Union since 1998, where he first served as Vice President of Operations until assuming the role of President and CEO in 2003. The last 25 years of Heap’s professional career have been spent in the credit union industry experiencing all aspects of credit union operations.

Heap serves on the Boards of Directors for the Georgia Credit Union League as well as the Georgia Credit Union Services Corporation, he is a former President of the Southwest Georgia Credit Union Chapter, and has served on multiple credit union cooperative committees and task forces. Heap is also an active member of the Albany Exchange Club and Sherwood Baptist Church.
