Bobby Michael has been the President/CEO of CORE Credit Union since 2005. Mr. Michael is a graduate of Florida State University and has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. He has been involved in various capacities of the credit union movement since 1994 and has worked at credit unions in Georgia and California.

During his tenure at CORE Credit Union, the organization has seen increased growth in loans, deposits, assets and product penetration. In addition, the credit union has grown from one to three branches. Of equal importance, in 2007 the credit union was awarded the ability to serve all residents of Bulloch County. CORE has been able to make a large impact in the community by becoming a trusted resource to numerous residents who seek for affordable and honest financial services. CORE Credit Union has $35 million in assets and over 6,700 members mainly in southeast Georgia.
