Robert Smyth is a Rome native and Business Development/Public Relations Coordinator and Marketing Director with Coosa Valley Federal Credit Union. He spent 12 years with K-98 radio (now Georgia Public Radio) in sales, production and on-air performance. He was honored with the title of class AA performer of the year for the state of Georgia from the Georgia Association of Broadcasters (GAB) in 2006.

Smyth is a graduate of Auburn University in Communications and has an extensive background in media and marketing. He serves on several committees for the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce and works closely with other local organizations and charities such as the Red Cross, United Way, Downtown Development and the YMCA.
