Associated Credit Union currently has a need for a Collector at our main office in the Norcross, Georgia location. As a Collector, you will work with a team of collectors and clerical staff to ensure effective and timely review and resolution of past due loan accounts, while protecting the Credit Union’s assets and financial interest. He/she will need to identify significant credit risks, execute time sensitive collection efforts, and initiating skip trace efforts.
- Skill/Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (bi-lingual a plus)
- Positive attitude
- Minimum of 2 years of consumer collection experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- College degree preferred but may be substituted by extensive related experience
- Familiar with FDCPA
- Proficient with Microsoft suites
- Must be able to work flexible hours and Saturdays as required.

As a Loan Officer you will be responsible for providing financial counseling and advising members who are seeking loans. He/she will also be receiving member applications, evaluating credit worthiness and approves or disapproves loans.

Member Service Representative

Hours: Availability - Monday – Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm
Job Description: Provide service to new and existing members via the phone and in person. Evaluate member’s financial needs, recommend services and open accounts. Cross sell, open and service all types of member services including checking, IRA's, Certificates, Bill pay, Web Acct Access, VISA debit cards, ATM cards, Loans, Visa credit cards, Home Equity loans, Mortgages, etc. Assist members with account transactions and inquiries.
Background: High school graduate. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience as a teller or member service representative in a financial institution. Strong written and verbal communication skills desired. Office experience desired to include accounting, typing, computer and software skills. The Credit Union is looking for an individual with the following traits: professional, pleasant, friendly, outgoing personality, organized, accurate, analytical and dependable.
