Title: Vice President Technology Services

Purpose:
To oversee the technology services department of the credit union. Responsible for the training and assistance of all System, Network, and Optical System Administrators.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct the operation of the computer system for timely, accurate processing.
- Evaluate and/or design new data processing applications.
- Monitor and compare prices with vendors to ensure best cost and reliable service of computer equipment.
- Negotiate contracts for the purchase, maintenance, and support of data processing systems and computer equipment.
- Manage all data dictionaries to ensure efficiency and standardization within the development of new software systems.
- Develop, update and ensure compliance with the disaster recovery plan.
- Develop and control complete computer/system security and loss prevention.
- Train System/Network Administrators in the operation of computers, peripheral equipment and off -line auxiliary equipment.
- Develop computer programs to produce requested reports for the credit union.
- Maintain updated networking/systems operations manuals and documentation.
- Maintain current knowledge of computer technology and suggest new types of equipment or operational methods.
- Oversee and ensure accuracy of special reports as needed by management.
- Prepare, implement and supervise the budget for the department that is consistent with the overall strategic plan and budget of the credit union.
- Develop, apply and evaluate policies and procedures for the department.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Data processing, MIS, or equivalent experience
A+, Network+, or MSCE or equivalent experience
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications

The primary responsibilities of this position include G/L reconciliation, balancing of Automated Clearing House (ACH), balancing and remittance of financial transactions, and preparation of government reports.
The preferred candidate will:
- Reconcile various balance sheet and expense accounts monthly as assigned
- Assist in general ledger accounting, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliation
- Record, verify, and remit travelers checks, money orders and official checks
- Analyze and apply logic to effectively create solutions to resolve discrepancies
- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with team members
- Support and contribute to the success of the department through commitment to the company’s core values: Respect, Integrity, Empathy, and Trust
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience in accounting
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- ACH knowledge a plus
- Must be well organized and attentive to detail and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced environment
- Must have strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet and Email
- Ability to build spreadsheets and write basic formulas using Microsoft Excel

Location: Dunwoody/Sandy Springs
Financial institution seeks collections professional to assist with first party collections. Duties include collection calls, skip tracing, and required administrative duties.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have strong telephone communications skills
- Experience working with attorneys and collection vendors
- Have bankruptcy experience; collateral repossession protocol knowledge
- Show attention to details, and
- Display a take charge personality.
