C. Lin Hodges, president and CEO and Timothy Bridges, Executive Vice President and CFO of Associated Credit Union, presented the American Red Cross with a check for $10,000 on Wednesday at its main office in Norcross. The donation made by the Associated Credit Union Foundation will be used by the American Red Cross in its Haitian Relief Efforts.

Members of Associated CU and other contributors started donating in January at Associated CU’s 28 branches in Atlanta and its four branches at its CSRA CU division in Augusta, Ga. Donations support emergency relief and recovery efforts including deploying personnel and providing food, water, and medicine for the victims.

C. Lin Hodges, president and CEO of Associated CU, said, "One of the reasons we began our foundation was to support emergency aid whenever disaster strikes our community or abroad. Our members and employees were more than generous in their immediate response to the destruction in Haiti. We appreciate everyone’s efforts and hope that our contribution will provide some relief"
