Georgia Heritage FCU members and the public enjoyed the second installment of an investments seminar held on April 13.

Dennis Davis of CUNA Mutual Group presented “New Retirement: Myths, Facts and Half Truths.” Wise investment choices were discussed including topics such as whether the stock market timing really matters, if investing on a tax-deferred basis is always best, and how much savings you may need for your retirement years. Investment Fundamentals Part I was presented in February at the credit union.

Each year, educational seminars are sponsored by Georgia Heritage FCU at no cost to members and the public. A meal is provided for attendees.

The next educational seminar is being planned for October.
