Lawrenceville, GA – Gwinnett Federal Credit Union members were tickled pink to win a basket full of pink “treasures”. The annual pink basket raffle has become a member favorite. Gwinnett Federal staffers donated enough items to fill eight large baskets. Since every branch had a different basket filled with pink “treasures”, some members purchased tickets at more than one branch. This basket raffle helped to collect over $2,500 (surpassing last year’s fundraiser) for the Gwinnett County Relay for Life program during the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer awareness campaign.

Employees and members raise money year-round with various fund raising events, culminating in Gwinnett County’s Relay for Life. Since 2001, Gwinnett FCU has raised $84,000 and donated thousands of employee volunteer hours to Relay for Life.
