Bibb County (March 4, 2010) – Staff at MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union’s Hartley Bridge Road location recently presented a sponsorship donation to Senior Community Manager for the
American Cancer Society, Glenda Davis. The American Cancer Society is a nationwide community-based health organization dedicated to help fund cutting-edge cancer research, early detection and prevention education, advocacy efforts, and life-affirming patient services. Relay For Life is the country’s largest grassroots effort to eliminate cancer as a major health problem in America.
MidSouth Community FCU is a sponsor of the Survivor Tent at the 2010 Relay For Life. Survivors and their caregivers can attend a special Reception at Relay where they’ll be able to enjoy food, games and activities such as BINGO and making cancer awareness bracelets.
MidSouth Community FCU was originally charted as Bibb Teachers Federal Credit Union, and has since grown to have more than $135 million in assets and a membership that includes more than 35,000 members. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school within the 13-county community charter.
