Macon, GA (May 5, 2010) – MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union President, Claude E. Garrett, recently presented a sponsorship donation to the Bibb County Board of Education (BOE). MidSouth will be the presenting sponsor of the 2010 Bibb BOE Volunteer Banquet scheduled for May 13, 2010, at Ballard Hudson Middle. This is the 25th year for the annual award banquet which recognizes volunteers and volunteer coordinators in public schools.

MidSouth Community FCU was originally charted as Bibb Teachers Federal Credit Union, and has since grown to have more than $135 million in assets and a membership that includes more than 35,000 members. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school within their 13-county community charter.
