Macon, GA (September 2, 2009) – MidSouth Federal Credit Union recently made a donation to Rebuilding Macon, Inc. (RMI), Macon's largest nonprofit organization that works to preserve homeownership and neighborhoods by providing rehabilitation services free of charge to those in need. With the help of 2,500 volunteers, Rebuilding Macon rehabilitated and repaired 210 homes in 2008.
Rebuilding Macon will hold their 4th Annual Benefit Auction “Up on the Roof” on Thursday, October 22nd, at the Butler Toyota Showroom. According to the organization, every dollar raised at the auction will benefit Rebuilding Macon, and will allow their services to continue to rebuild Macon one house at a time.
